Originally from Bombay, Tanielle has had the opportunity to work for international fashion companies like Dolce and Gabbana, Burberry and Matthew Williamson whilst studying at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Fashion in London.

Her Graduate Collection of womenswear, accessories and shoes reflects an eclectic, kitsch and colourful quirkiness with traditional ethnic flashes. Inspired by the markets of Bombay and the psychedelic dollybirds of the swinging sixties in the west, it is a melange of chaotic Indian street hawkers, cosmic go-go mods and kaleidoscopic graffiti art, expressing her love for bold colour, embellishment and Indian craftsmanship.

Bombay is a cheeky hybrid of Indian suburbia that smells more of the future than the past. It is exciting and dares to be different like when we were young and free in the sixties. It was a time of fun.

Colour has always been a key feature of her design and highlights the collection. Her prints explore graphic versions of technicolour kites, pinwheels and pompoms. The fabrics used are hand-woven tweeds and silks from India.

The Art Nouveau revival of the sixties stimulates her designs for accessories and shoes. The bags and clutches boast exquisite hand carved wooden handles of patterns combining art nouveau and Indian motifs. The shoes compliment the bags with similar hand carved heels in vivid colours.
